New work for Vinyl Me, Please

Recently I was asked by “the best damn record club”, also known as Vinyl Me, Pleaseto help show how dedicated they are to pressing the highest quality vinyl they can, while remastering and reissuing classics from iconic artists ranging from Art Blakey to the Ramones.

This shoot was a little different as I was tasked with shooting both stills as well as short video snippets to show the process of how an album is physically produced.

We visited their pressing facility in Salina, Kansas to document the entire album pressing process, followed by a trip to Nashville to shoot in a mastering studio, where master tapes get tweaked and tuned until a lacquer is cut prior to production.

As a drummer and music nerd it was awesome to see how albums are made, let alone being given the opportunity to tell the story for Vinyl Me, Please.

My favorites from the shoot can be seen by clicking here.
